Hay & Kilner advises TRACK7 Technology Group on Flex4 acquisition

Hay & Kilner has advised TRACK7 Technology Group on its acquisition of RWS Web Solutions Ltd, the business behind the Flex4 OPS web-to-print platform.

The deal marks the first acquisition for TRACK7, the parent company of Newcastle-based digital agency Enigma Interactive, and forms part of its strategy to expand into specialist digital commerce markets under the leadership of Steve Grainger.

Flex4 OPS is a UK-developed eCommerce platform that combines web-to-print technology with digital marketing tools, helping print businesses build and scale their online sales channels.

Following completion, the Flex4 business will continue to operate independently from its Kendal base, with co-founder Francis Whiteley remaining as Managing Director.

Mark Adams, Partner in the Corporate Team at Hay & Kilner, who led the deal supported by Lydia Sevenoaks, said: “This is an exciting first acquisition for TRACK7 and a significant step in delivering its growth ambitions. The addition of the Flex4 platform strengthens the group’s digital commerce capabilities and positions it well to capitalise on opportunities in the sector.

We are delighted to have supported TRACK7 on this transaction and look forward to seeing the business continue to grow.”
